Bedroom Measuring Tips

Step 1:
The best way to record your room measurements is to draw a simple plan of your room area including the approximate location of windows & doors. Make a note of each wall length. Starting in one corner and working your way around the room can make it easier for you.

Step 2:
Record all of your measurements in the same format either feet & inches or metric to avoid confusion.

Step 3:
When measuring doors and windows measure from the outside of the trim on one side to the outside of the trim on the other side.

Step 4:
Make a note of any obstructions like vents, radiators or pipes.

Step 5:
Get the ceiling height by measuring from floor to ceiling This will give you enough information for our designers to do a design for you & should you wish to go ahead with a design we will call to your home to take a more detailed measurement.
